Forest Gate Engages Drillers In New Brunswick

JULY 27, 2004, MONTREAL, QC – Forest Gate Resources Inc. reports that it has engaged Logan Drilling Ltd., Stewiacke, Nova Scotia, to execute a drilling on the company’s 100% owned California Lake silver property and Rio Road gold property.

California Lake and Rio Road are located approximately 30 miles from the city of Bathurst, New Brunswick. The properties are approximately 10 miles from Noranda Inc.’s Brunswick No. 12 zinc-silver mine, one of the largest of its type in the world.

Logan Drilling expects to mobilize a rig on the properties within the next two weeks. Forest Gate plans to drill at least two holes on both its California Lake silver property and its Rio Road gold property. Both properties revealed prominent anomalies in geophysical surveys executed this year.

As well, the company expects to run a geophysical survey on its Canoe Landing Lake property in the month of August. The geophysics will be conducted on an area of the property that has not yet been drilled.

In June, Forest Gate staked an additional mile of property adjacent to the east side of California Lake silver property. Please refer to the company’s Website to look at the new property map. Also, the company is pleased to announce that it has launched its French-version Website.
