Discover New Kimberlite Boulder Train
Two Tonnes to be Tested for Diamonds

Montreal, QC, September 28, 2006 - Forest Gate Resources Inc. and joint venture partner Majescor Resources Inc. report that over two tonnes of kimberlite boulders have been collected from a new kimberlite dispersal train discovered on the Portage property located in north central Quebec. The Portage property is within 10 kilometres of the diamondiferous Renard kimberlite cluster currently being bulk-sampled by Ashton Mining of Canada.

The new kimberlite boulder dispersal train occurs in the Remick dyke sector of the property. More than 25 kimberlite fragments with sizes up to 1 metre have been recovered from a clearly defined dispersal train some 250 metres long by 50 metres wide. A total of 2 to 2.5 tons of kimberlite from the new discovery will be sent to laboratories for the recovery of macrodiamonds while samples from the very coarse facies rock will be treated separately for microdiamonds.

The March 2006 winter drill program on the Remick dyke found kimberlite in 11 of 14 holes and the current drill defined strike length of Remick dyke stands at approximately 900 metres. A 2004 microdiamond sample of kimberlite float from the Remick dyke area proved to be diamondiferous with a total of 32 diamonds greater than 0.075 millimetres being recovered from 136 kilograms of kimberlite.

Although the newly found rocks, like those from the known U-340 dispersion train and the Remick dyke, can be visually described as containing variable amounts and sizes of macrocrysts, they differ by the presence of possible pyrope garnet and chrome-diopside. Some of the float exhibits abundant and very coarse olivine and ilmenite up to 3 cm, as well as occasional xenoliths.

Additional to the new kimberlite discovery, the six week autumn field campaign resulted in the collection of 415 sample sets of glacial sediment/soil for both kimberlitic mineral indicator recovery and geochemistry plus the collection of additional boulder material of the diamond-bearing ultramafic rocks discovered in 2005.

The 2006 Portage exploration program focused on several highly prospective areas identified as a result of compilation work undertaken in the spring and final mineralogical data from the 2005 till sampling program. It involved prospecting, mapping, and till and soil geochemistry sampling. Soil geochemistry results will be used to evaluate and classify priority areas located outside the main dispersal trains.
Should the soil geochemistry provide anomalous results, the larger glacial sediment sample collected at the same time will be submitted for indicator mineral analysis in order to develop targets for the next campaign.
