Forest Gate To Conduct Gravity Survey of Targets at East Side Diamond Property

August 11, 2003, Montreal, Qc. - Forest Gate Resources Inc. reports that gravity surveys will commence this week over portions of its East Side diamond property in Fort à la Corne, Saskatchewan in an attempt to identify and delineate additional kimberlite targets.

The recently discovered Dizzy kimberlite body, which is the first new kimberlite discovery in the Fort à la Corne kimberlite field since 1996, contains very weakly magnetic kimberlite, as was revealed in recent drilling. The gravity survey will provide the company with a better understanding of the size and shape of this body.

Reprocessing of detailed aeromagnetic coverage acquired by prior operators has identified a second prospective target – a weak mag high - near the southern property boundary, which will also be tested by ground mag and gravity coverage.

The gravity survey will be conducted under the supervision of Robertshaw Geophysics, Saskatoon. The ground mag survey of the newly identified southern anomaly will be performed by Newson Management and Consulting, Saskatoon.

“Our consultants inform us that the nearby Star kimberlite body, where Shore Gold is presently completing a shaft to extract an underground large tonnage bulk sample, is very weakly magnetic (in aeromagnetics) over much of its 2 km-wide area.” says Michael Judson, President of Forest Gate Resources. “This, and our recent Dizzy kimberlite discovery, provide encouragement to accelerate exploration of the East Side property.”
